At the heart of Destination Vacation, we believe that your vacation is your destination, i.e., your purpose. Hence, we ensure taking care of your accommodation, transportation, and other critical aspects of your travel, while you can solely focus on the vacation experience.
About Us
Destination Vacation is the brainchild of Suman Sarkar, our M.D and Sayani Sarkar, our proprietor. Both have served in the tourism industry with over 25 years (combined) experience in the field. When the world returned to a new normal post-COVID, they thought of using their knowledge and expertise in this field in a different way. This led to the birth of Destination Vacation, your travelling partner, committed to help you experience a smooth and hassle-free vacation.
Our Founders
Suman Sarker is the M.D of Destination Vacation. He completed his BBA(Hons) in Tourism & Hospitality Management from DSMS, BURDWAN UNIVERSITY. Additionally, he pursued and completed many Short term Projects & Courses on Travel & Tourism from IITTM GWALIOR, GARWAL UNIVERSITY. He has been working professionally from 2007 serving in prominent travel agencies and tour operators, such as Marshal International,Vinayaka Holidays Pvt Ltd , Denzong Leisure , and more. He has over 16 + years of experience
Sayani Sarkar is the Proprietor of Destination Vacation. She has done her graduation in Tourism and Travel Management (Vocational) from Muralidhar Girls College, Calcutta University. Further, she completed her IATA Course from Trade Wings Institute of Management, Kolkata. For more than 12 years, she has worked with many eminent names in the tourism industry, such as Cox and kings, SOTC, Make My Trip, and more.
Our Journey, so far .........
2021 – Began journey as a freelancer, under the banner of Destination Vacation, offering customised tour packages within India
2022 – In January, we arranged our 1st group tour for Sundarbans
2023 – We registered our company. In July, we arranged our 1st international group tour to Thailand. In the same year in November, we arranged our 2nd international group tour. This same year in December, we arranged our 1st inbound South Indian group tour in Tripura.
2024 – In June, we arranged our 1st international corporate group to a South East Asian country
At Destination vacation, we arrange customised tours for Domestic and International destinations round the year. Additionally, we can provide guided city or local tour both in West Bengal and Tripura. Moreover, we can also make arrangements for relaxing weekend tour to explore many hidden gems in and around Tripura.
